If we had posters of our heroes in our studio, the first one we’d put up would be of Nancy Zieman. Not only has she had the longest-running sewing show in North American history but her life is a lesson to all of us in overcoming barriers and blazing your own trail. She also wrote a generous review of A Kid’s Guide to Sewing, had us as Skype guests on her show and visited our booth at Quilt Expo for a taping to air of Sewing With Nancy. If you’ve never met her you haven’t had the chance to see that she’s a down-to-earth, generous and thoughtful person who is beloved by her staff (always a good sign)!

I’m guessing that you too have been inspired and learned a tremendous amount from Nancy over the years. What you might not know is that our beloved Nancy Zieman is in the middle of another medical challenge. Here’s the link to the video that explains that she is being treated for bone cancer and will need to cancel some of her travel and work for awhile.
