For the month of July, Modern Quilt Studio has organized a nationwide Modern Quilt Studio Prize Dash on our Facebook page in collaboration with independent quilt shops around the country and the group of generous sponsors listed above.

On our Facebook page we’ll post 10 clues throughout July, each pertaining to a particular quilt shop based on the address, name of the shop or special trivia pertaining to the shop. Participating quilt shops (only we and they know who they are!) will await the arrival of the first person to decipher the clue and say the password “Modern Quilt Studio” and then award them a special prize tote. Totes will be filled with items generously donated by our sponsors. Shop owners will then photograph the winner with their prize tote and the CLAIMED sign. Shops will post the photo on the Modern Quilts Studio Facebook page and their own Facebook page; letting all other participants know the prize has been claimed.

How to Play

• Like the Modern Quilt Studio Facebook page.
• Starting on July 1^st check the Modern Quilt Studio Facebook page daily and watch for clues. Read the clues very carefully. (Hint: if you click on the share button on Facebook under the clue, your  Facebook friends in other parts of the country you may be able to solve the clues so you could split the prizes!)
• To claim the prize tote, be the first to arrive at the quilt shop associated with the clue, say the password “Modern Quilt Studio” and agree to have your photo taken and posted on Facebook.

Official Rules:

• No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest. A purchase will not improve chances of winning.
• Contest is open to all US residents except employees of the sponsors and participating quilt shops or any other party associated with the contest including immediate family (i.e., parents, children, siblings, spouse), and persons residing in the same household.
• Only one clue will be posted at a time. Clues will appear beginning July 1 and continue until all 10 prizes have been claimed.
• Clues will only be posted when the shop is open for business.
• There will be a total of 10 winners. Each prize is valued at over $150.00.
• Participants must agree to have their picture taken and posted on Facebook in order to claim their prize.
  The winner’s photo will appear on the Modern Quilt Studio Facebook page within 30 minutes of claiming the prize.
