We’re packing up our sweet little 1924 Arts and Crafts bungalow and moving 1.5 miles north to a 1930 Tudor home and studio in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District of our beloved Oak Park. We’ll have a larger studio with its own entrance in the lower level of the home (although it’ll take me awhile to whip the garden into shape).

So here’s where you come in: We’ll be having a Moving Sale on Sunday, December 4. Most fabrics will be between $4-6/yd. Marcia Derse fabrics will be $8/yd and fat quarters will be $2 each! We’ll also have $2 bags of scraps while they last. Beach Glass memo cubes will be 20% off at $8. FunQuilts notecards will be $3 per pack. There will also be special deals on patterns and sample goodies. You’ll also be able to see our latest kits from Modern Quilts Illustrated and the cover quilt from the February 2012 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. You’ll also be able to see our advance copy of Transparency Quilts.

Your price of admission to this bargain bonanza is a non-perishable donation to the Oak Park Food Pantry or $1, which we will collect on behalf of the pantry so it can continue to feed the hungry.

If you’ll be in the Chicagoland area, stop by the studio from 10-2 (thoughtfully planned as an appetizer before the big Chicago Modern Quilt Guild’s Sew-In which starts at noon). Not only will there be incredible deals but we’re going to be giving away loads of goodies.
